Two courses with different difficulty levels

We offer two difficulty levels of courses for AMC 8: Basic level and advanced level.

​

Our basic level course is designed for students who need to build up solid math foundation and develop basic skills to solve math competition problems. This prepares students to correctly and quickly answer those easy and medium difficulty level questions, and be ready to take the advanced level course.

Our advanced level course is designed for students who have built up solid math foundations and accumulated some basic problem-solving skills, and aim at receiving math competition awards (example: honor rolls or above in AMC 8).

Self-assessment test of waiving the basic level course

 

Before you decide which difficulty level course is a best fit for you, we suggest you to first take this self-assessment test. The difficulty levels of all questions in this test are equivalent to those easy and medium difficulty level questions in AMC 8. If you can correctly answer at least 35 out of 40 questions (without guessing) within 60 minutes, then you can waive the basic level course and directly take the advanced level course. Otherwise, we strongly suggest you to begin with the basic level course.
